There's a great FRENCh restaurant in LOS CRISTIANOS called "LA FLAMBE" - it has great Coq au vin and pancakes for desert - it's situated in the court yard on the sea front.
Also in LOS CRISTIANOS there's also a restaurant called " LA FORTUNA" - ask anyone for directions, they all know where it is. It's great for peppered steak!

Unfortunately, after a visit to Tenerife at Christmas (2001), we found that the very well known EL DORNAJO restaurant, or as many people knew it "The Garage Door," has finally been taken over by two other restaurants after over 20 years.
If you want to travel outside Playa de las Americas, then why not pay a visit to La Brasa, just off the TF-1 motorway. Here they serve a wide variety of Canarian food, all of which is wonderful and the red wine here is a definite must !
Another favourite here in Tenerife is pork and chicken, and in the Hills of Cabo Blanco, pay a visit to San Martin. Here their specialities of the House are Roast Chicken and Suckling Pig. They also serve potatoes with onions and peppers which are excellent.

If you want to try some succulent pork chops, then go to the Restaurant Velazquez in Arona. The only item on their menu is pork chops, salad and potatoes, but you won't believe the size and unbelievable taste. Something not to be missed.

If you enjoy Italian food, then there is an excellent Italian in the centre of Playa de las Americas, next to Banco Santander and Aparthotel Col�called "Mama Rosa." It's a little bit more expensive but it is well worth it!!
